Fantastic focused strategy with student encouragement for each lesson. Progress is evaluated with each carefully planned lesson. Totally worth the investment. My child got 1500 results on first SAT (750 English and 750 Math) after taking a combination of private and group lessons. Mr SAT does everything possible to support students including adapting lesson times to busy schedules and providing follow up and advise on individual plan of action. Great support for both students and parents. Definitely recommend!!!

If I could give Mr. SAT Rich Goldman more than five stars, I would. I have used his services to help my son and a few of his friends (a small group class on zoom) prepare for the SAT. My son took SAT this month and did so well he surpassed my hopes, and he will not have to take it again. He improved his score compared to his PSAT by 130 points in English, and by 210 points in math. From the very first session my son said the class was helpful and eye-opening. The text analysis techniques my son learned with Rich are also helping him do much better in his AP English class. The cost of the class, especially the group rate, made it a great deal, compared to big name courses. I decided to pay for helping my son prepare because he was not a naturally good test taker, and before this I didn’t think I would do it for all my kids (some of them are good at taking tests). But now after seeing the incredible result of studying with Rich, I will beg him to take on my three younger kids when the time comes for them to take the SAT.

Rich/Mr. SAT did one-on-one ACT tutoring with my daughter this last summer and fall. We were lucky to connect with him. He is a great tutor! While the sessions were all online, they were almost as engaging as if they were in person. Preparing for standardized tests isn’t fun but Rich made the ACT tutoring tolerable and not painful. His approach was reasonable when doing test prep alongside existing schoolwork. The outcomes of the ACT tests my daughter took definitely reflected the time she spent preparing with Rich. I would 100% recommend him to others.

Rich helped my son get a 35 on the ACT. He worked with him one-on-one, which was a little more expensive but definitely the most effective tutoring method – and the one that provides the best outcomes.

In a last minute panic I booked Rich (Mr. SAT) to tutor my daughter for the ACT Science section. Rich not only calmed my fears about being too late for my daughter to achieve anything, but he worked with me to ensure that my daughter was set up for success…which he fully delivered on! We must admit, we were very skeptical about Rich’s one-week crash SAT course. Well, he proved us wrong; our son’s grade went up by 190 points! Our son studied on his own for the first SAT, but his score came in a little low. Knowing he had little time before the next test, Rich offered his 7-day crash course. Although our teenager was pretty tired after a full day of classes, Rich was able to motivate him with his good-natured demeanor, sense of humor, and his tremendous knowledge of the intricacies of the SAT process. He taught in a clear, concise, and understandable manner. Our son went on to take a third SAT, in which he scored better on one portion of the test, and was able to super-score to get an even higher score than he had aimed for! Rich, we can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done. You’re a great communicator and teacher!

After getting the same SAT score over and over again, I took Rich’s 7-day SAT crash course and went up almost 200 points on my SAT! He had it all planned out and made everything simple and clear. Plus he makes the lessons fun. I recommend him!
