Who Is Mr. SAT?
My real name is Rich Goldman, and I’m a happy husband and proud father of two delightful children. I’m Ivy League-educated (University of Pennsylvania…go Quakers!) and I’ve been teaching SATs and ACTs for, um…decades! Back in the beginning I trained with and taught for both Kaplan and Princeton Review. I taught everything from 1-on-1 tutoring to multi-student classes for both of those wonderful organizations. However, after years of affiliation with those premiere companies, I developed my own ideas about how to best teach the tips, tricks and methods to students of ALL levels. Contrary to the methodology of numerous other entities, my main approach is to dive right into the tests, and learn the tips, tricks and methods as we get direct and invaluable practice with each section. My style is to engage my students through interactivity and humor, and I have the rare ability to boil down difficult concepts into easily digestible morsels.

*The # of students per class varies, but the average class size is 7 students/class
- One may join a class at any time – it is a rolling admission
- One may pay for and attend as many or as few classes as desired, but one or more 10-class batches are recommended
- My courses are designed so that in 10 consecutive classes a student will have seen and heard every strategy, tip, trick and shortcut of all subjects at least once
- If a student signs up for a 2nd or 3rd 10-class batch, the tips, tricks and strategies will be reinforced, but the material will be different
- All SAT classes teach both Reading/Writing and Math
- ACT classes teach English, Math and Reading – but not Science
- I teach the ACT Science section in separate classes – see below
